Ever since I can remember, I wanted to create my own label. This dream was never just an idea, it has always been a feeling that accompanied me throughout my life. As a child, I often watched my mother work at her sewing machine. Every time, I found it fascinating. At the age of eight, I got to try it myself for the first time. My very first project was a small teddy bear pendant, sewn by hand, filled with pride and love. From that moment on, I kept starting new projects, creating clothing, plush toys, and bags. I experimented, learned, and let my creativity grow.
From the very beginning, I knew my label should not be just another fashion brand. SKD Fashion Revolution is meant to be a brand that brings a smile to people’s faces. A brand with storytelling designs. Designs that make you not only look but also wonder What story is this design trying to tell? And in the moment you start to feel the story behind it, that special feeling should arise, like butterflies in your stomach, a warm and honest smile.
Today, I want to share more about the SKD Fashion Revolution logo, how it came to be, why it features two cats, and what that has to do with fashion. The honest answer is, actually, nothing. And at the same time, everything, on a very personal level.

Moments when I sit on the floor and cry. It is in those moments that both of my cats, Nora and Finn, come to me. They meow, approach me, gently knead on my lap with their tiny paws, and curl up next to me.
